The Innovation Lab Comes of Age: The iLab – Innovation for Information

After only six months on the SLA website, the Innovation Lab has come of age and is now a permanent part of Click University. This resource, initiated and championed by 2008 SLA President Stephen Abram, has been very popular among members, who have taken advantage of the opportunity to learn about and experiment with various applications. In fact, as of December 31, over 5,400 individuals have visited the site. To date, 1,574 members have signed up for 23 Things, just one of the learning tools in the Innovation Lab.

As a part of Click U, the iLab will continue to be a portal to the most innovative and valuable tools available to information professionals. In the very near future we will add features such as tutorials, and we will continue to explore new technologies and highlight new tools each month.
