Ron Kaminecki, director of Dialog's intellectual property segment, will be presenting a two-part series on patents in October. Patents 101, which will take place on 6 October (2:00-3:00pm ET), includes background information (including terms), describes the patent process, and offers some strategies for patent searching.
Patents 102 covers more technical topics, plus patent law. This session is scheduled for 27 October (2:00-3:00pm ET).
