Learn how to institute enterprise-wide copyright education. Topics include:
- ongoing copyright education for librarians
- awareness of print or digital copyright issues
- sensitizing others about copyright management
- educating senior staff, librarians, and other employees about copyright principles and issues
- determining the copyright issues relevant to your organization
- avoiding unauthorized uses of content by end-users
- ensuring copyright information is accessible in your organization
- explaining difficult legal concepts in plain language
- locating existing tools and developing tools for copyright education
- development and components of a copyright policy
Courses are IACET-accredited and are open to SLA members and non-members. Take one or both courses; conference registration is not required.
