This recent post, Opposites Attract, by Tom Peters caught my eye. Tom explains how he sees the rapid change in information technologies has created a situation in which the opposites of librarianship are in the ascendant. Although he considers this a dissertation topic he gives a few examples of the conflicts within the profession and how opposing forces within it, tradionalists or Huns and Visigoths, think we should cope with the future. A good read.
