On Friday, 20 March 2009 from 1:00pm-2:30pm eastern U.S. time, OpenTheGovernment.org and other organizations (including SLA) will present, as part of Sunshine Week, a discussion of what the new Administration is—or should be—doing to promote open government, what can be done to advance that goal, and what the news media are doing to make government information easily available in communities. The event will be held at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., and webcast to sites around the country.
